A DIARY ENTRY FROM THE VICTIM'S POINT OF VIEW

    

      Today the popular girls actually asked me to sit by them.  I thought wow, they are finally going to be nice to me?  That's out of character... maybe I shouldn't.  If I didn't then they would have thought I was a snob.  I decided to sit with them and now I really wish I wouldn't have.  I thought what have I got to lose right?  I should have realized it would be what dignity I had left.

     So, I sat down with my tray, trying to hide my nervousness from them.  I could hear Bentley, the most popular guy at school say to Sophie, "Why did you ask her to sit with us, she's the ugliest girl in our school."

     Sophie replied confidently, "Don't worry Bentley...  I have got his covered."  What hurt me was they didn't even try to whisper about it, and before I could leave without a debacle, they started in.

     "Heather sucks.  You should go kill yourself.  Your useless and no one likes you.  You could go hang yourself, for all I care.  I mean you'd be doing the world a favor.  After that Bentley, the guy I had crushed on since second grade through a carton of chocolate milk, splattering all over my new shirt.

     I ran out of the school balling.  Maybe I should do the world a favor tonight...

CHARACTERS- 
     I feel bad for Piggy, because everyone makes fun of him for his weight.  Ralph seems kind of like a jerk, because of the way he treats Piggy.  The choir boys seem very preppy and stuck-up.  Simon seems a bit like a sickly kid, I have a strong feeling that he is going to die in the story.  The twins sound very creative and full of energy, and very annoying.


THEMES- 
      I like how he kind of paints a mental image and gives enough details to where you can picture it, but enough left out that you can imagine it in your own way.


RANDOM THOUGHTS- 
      I was really confused about the bat-like animal.  I thought it was a shadow of a boy being described, but am not to sure.
     I am also wondering what an airplane with only one adult (the pilot) and a lot of young boys were going. 

     If I was stranded on an island, it would definitely be Fiji!  I would probably attempt to get their by cruise ship, and my luck I just happened to be on the ship that crashes and sinks.  Luckily, I would have a life vest and luckily it just happened to crash about two miles form the island of Fiji. I swam the two miles and so did my friends to the island of paradise!  
     When we would get there we would tell our story, and locals would go out to see a to see if there were anymore survivors.  Due to all the oil that had spilt in the ocean, I would have to stay on the island of Fiji for six months!  It would be the best time ever! I would eat all the yummy fruit, especially coconuts!!   
     Then, my two favorite comedian/actors Adam Sandler & Kevin James would come in an airplane and land on the island!  They would make my vacation ten times better!  Finally, another cruise ship came and got everyone from the crash and we got home safely. 

I have 24 hours to live.  What would I do?

• I would rob a bank, successfully, without killing someone.

• With the money I stole from the bank, I would put some in a savings account for my family to   use when I am gone.  I would donate money to charities.

• With the leftover money i would buy an airplane and fly to the Carribean.
•  
• When I got to the Carribean i would rent a luxirous hotel room, and wreck it, for fun.
•  
• The first thing I would do would be to go bungee jumping, swim with dolphins, buy a monkey, see a shark, and have fun while doing it.

•  When I got back home I would say goodbye to my family and friends.  I would tell them not to cry, because I am going to be in a better place. 
•  
•  The very last thing I would do would be for my Dad, I would kill a wolf, with satisfaction.
